LOIRE VALLEY

This wine comes from Mellot’s home domaine of La Moussière, It is young, bold and intense, with a mix of spice, concentrated citrus and crisp acidity. The depth of flavor in this wine is extraordinary and merits aging.

The bouquet is marked by morello cherry, violet, wood notes and with aging it develops aromas of game, truffle and cherries in brandy. On the palate, it reveals good roundness and a light.

Stunning, georgeous Chenin, from the dry Savenneries AOC in Loire Valley. Finely poised flavors and aromas of Lime, Honey, white flowers, are stretched tight around the steely mineraly core of acid. Needs time, but so good now!

This Sancerre seduces on the palate with its roundness and opulent ripe citrus notes, while retaining the freshness and minerality typical of flint Terroir.

The palate reveals a beautifully balanced wine with crisp, invigorating acidity. Flavors of crisp apple, juicy pear, and ripe lemon are complemented by a faint, honeyed richness and a minerally texture. The ENERGY the wine unleashes has to be tasted!

Made in the 'methode traditionelle', formerly known as the champagne method, it boasts fresh lemon and apple fruit, with just a hint of fresh bread adding complexity.

Grown on flinty soils and aged in stainless steel, this is a bright, citrusy sauvignon that doesn't veer into grassy territory, minerals take a backseat to leesy cream, yellow peach and lime peel with a faint bit of flint poking its head out.

This Cheverny has a dry, very fruity taste. It can be drunk chilled as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to any dish. 20% Chardonnay plumps up this crisp Loire Sauvignon Blanc. Excellent value!

From the Chenin genius Patrick Baudoin! Like his Savenniere,This dry Anjou is for intellectuals. Size: 1.5 ha (3.7 ac); Variety: Chenin Blanc; Vine Age: Planted 1991-1992; Terroir: Located in Saint Aubin de Luigne, Layon. Shallow sandstone-schist soil.

Refreshing, very fruity Rosé will seduce you with its bouquet of ripe red (strawberry, raspberry, cherry) fruits. It's easy to drink, fresh and particularly well-balanced in structure and aromas. Solid value as well!

The 2019 Sancerre Bourgeoisie has a sense of weight without heaviness. It offers real power and purpose and a linear finish. The fruit is reminiscent of apple strudel – cinnamon and pastry – perhaps due to partial fermentation in barrel. Fresh and fine.

80% Grenache, 15% Syrah, and the rest Mourvèdre. Offers a Provençal, spicy, morello cherry, and garrigue-scented perfume to go with a medium to full-bodied, ripe yet also savory style on the palate.
