This Bordeaux red is one of the stars of the 2020 vintage, and now the Cabernet blend has ascended to No. 3 on Wine Spectator's Top 10 Wines of Bordeaux.
It was decided in 2004 to make Y every year. It is thus by deliberate choice that we now harvest certain plots of Sauvignon Blanc at the beginning of the vintage, making sure to pick perfectly ripe bunches. Lots of power, but fermented dry.
This older Cabernet dominant vintage has well-preserved acidity, supple tannins, and elegant alder accents. Finish is long-lasting ⋅ Pleasant freshness ⋅ Well-preserved acidity.
Typical of the huge power of Guiraud, this is one of the richest Sauternes in 2005. The wine is rich and intense, the dry edge of botrytis just dominating the sweetness. Flavors of honey, almonds and peaches provide extra complexity.
Pleasant nose combining black stone fruits, blackcurrant, spices, discreet woody background. Supple, rich, full-bodied on the palate that is less expressive, letting the oak dominate for now.

Rich and full of character, this has white peach, fleshy nectarine and soft citrus. An enticing, mouth-watering white wine and one. Strongly recommended.
This is packed with fig, boysenberry and raspberry fruit flavors that keep cascading over one another while enticing anise and plum notes fill in throughout. Gorgeous mouthfeel, with a creamy, rounded edge, yet still a generally racy and focused feel.
