Highly refined nose reveals perfectly ripe fruit. Bilberry and blackcurrant aromas combine harmoniously with floral notes. Pepper and spice and elegant notes of graphite and blonde tobacco. The mid-palate abounds in black fruit along with cocoa flavors.

Offering up subtle pink grapefruit, green mango and ripe pears scents with an undercurrent of baking bread, ginger and allspice plus a waft of lemon peel. Medium-bodied with wonderfully generous tropical and citrus flavors accented of spices, long finish.

The 2016 Langoa Barton is medium to deep garnet-purple colored and opens with cedar, red and black currants, kirsch and menthol with smoked meats.

2016 comprises a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 47% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot. The 2016 Lascombes features beautiful candied violets, Black Forest cake, cassis and menthol with hints of underbrush, cloves, pencil lead and tar.

The 2016 Le Petit Mouton is a blend of 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot and 3% Cabernet Franc. The expressive and complex nose opens on attractive black fruit and bilberry notes with a hint of cocoa.

The 2015 Chateau d'Issan shows a medium crimson color with purple tints and is fresh, fruity and floral on the nose. It offers black currant and black plums. This full-bodied, incredibly sexy Margaux boasts sweet, sweet tannin, lots of vibrancy.

A wine of extraordinary charm and elegance, the dark garnet-colored 1985 Ducru-Beaucaillou has a floral, cedary nose intermixed with red and black fruits (plum, cherry). Some dried cranberries, light smoke and dried herbs too. Quite tannic backbone.
