Mayflower Porter is a rich, complex brew that is smooth and full-flavored. Five varieties of malted barley provide notes of roasted coffee beans and bittersweet chocolate with a hint of smokiness.

Porter pours into the glass a dark chocolate hue with some amber highlights.  The creamy head is a latte-tinted froth which sticks around and laces nicely as you finish your pint.  As you tilt the glass towards you, you are met with subtle hints of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and wood fire smoke.  The flavors coming out of the glass mimic the aromas.  You’re met with waves of dark chocolate cake, rich dark espresso, and light smoke from your bonfire.  This porter has a medium body and an average carbonation for the style.  It finishes dry, leaving you wanting another sip.
