“The David” has a a very complex, rich and integrated flavor. Merlot and Cabernet Franc give it spicy notes, the Sangiovese gives it elegance, and the Petite Syrah structure & color!

Opens with alluring aromas of tropical fruit, gooseberry, and lemongrass. A full and lively palate of guava, peach, and grapefruit complemented by bright acidity gives way to a lingering, crisp finish.

Offers intense aromas of ripe raspberries and cassis with notes of pepper, clove. Full-bodied and rich and displays layers of black currant and black raspberry with notes of cedar. Elegant with silky tannins and a long and persistent finish.

Pleasant nose combining black stone fruits, blackcurrant, spices, discreet woody background. Supple, rich, full-bodied on the palate that is less expressive, letting the oak dominate for now.

Darker fruits – closer to that of a black cherry liqueur than a crème de cassis of Kir. Flavors of roasted beetroot – similar texturally to a congealed sweet fat. Oak and tannins absorbed. Both are present, yet not demanding their space. Substantial.

The tropical orange muscat becomes integrated into the Gewurztraminer while the Semillon brings the finish of the wine to a high-acid crunch. Overall the wine shows firm, quenching citrus fruit with loads of mashable, mouth-filling tactile yumminess.
